The International Center for Psychodrama is proud to present the modular training certification program for psychodrama and group psychotherapy.
A comprehensive, experiential, practical and focused program that is designed both for those that wish to experience psychodrama for personal development, transformation and healing, and for therapists and facilitators wishing to integrate psychodrama techniques into their practice and ultimately become psychodrama facilitators.
Psychodrama and group therapy modalities, support a person's ability to develop, learn and experience, change patterns and behaviors and get to know and accept oneself from new perspectives. Working with a group invites us to enter into a powerful space that amplifies and operates in several dimensions allowing for transformation, breakthroughs and better results in a shorter time.
This program was created and directed by Shay Mashiach together with other experienced teachers who have been both practicing and teaching psychodrama for many years and are very passionate and devoted to sharing this unique healing and developmental modality.
The modular program is designed based on the two-year psychodrama therapist school in Israel, providing flexibility for international students to progress through the program by completing the modules at their own pace. Currently, the modules are offered in Koh Phangan, with plans to expand to additional locations in the future.
Each of the modules can be taken as a "stand alone intensive" or as part of the full training program.
The program is international and will be conducted in English.
Our upcoming trainings will take place on the tropical Island of Koh Phangan, Thailand, at the beautiful Holina center.

For those who want to specialize in working with groups and acquire training for a fascinating and endless profession.
For those who want to add to their basket of therapeutic tools an integrative therapeutic approach of psychodrama and group relations.
For practitioners in the treatment and training professions such as group facilitators, complementary medicine therapists, psychotherapists, clinical psychologists, social workers, graduates in psychology, social work, psychodrama and drama therapy.
For those that wish to become Psychodrama facilitators!
(** Psychodrama facilitator certification will be awarded upon successful completion of the entire program, which includes Level 1 & 2 and 200 hours of supervision. Further details are provided below.)
Admission is based on experience, education, training, relevant studies and above all the personality structure of the candidates.

EXPERIENTIAL STUDIES
Our way of learning is mainly based on experience.
Psychodrama is based on spontaneity and creativity, so it is recommended to experience and feel the learned wisdom as much as possible.
For example - the "inner child" model.
We learn how to return to our past life images and create opportunity for healing and change through the psychodramatic tools. In this way, the students relatively quickly reach both a mental and an emotional understanding of the process, the techniques, and the way of thinking.
This experiential practice is assimilated and not forgotten.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The modular program is tailored from the Psychodrama therapist training two year program in Israel. It is made up from two levels, each level is the equivalent of a year of the program in Israel. After completion of both levels, those that want to be certified as Psychodrama therapists will have to complete an internship of supervised practical facilitation hours to be eligible for the psychodrama facilitator certification.
Level 1 :
Group facilitation utilizing psychodrama and therapeutic theater techniques.
Level 1 of the modular program consists of three modules and is equivalent to the first year of the two-year program in Israel.
All three modules must be completed to receive the Level 1 certificate.

* The modules can be completed in any sequence.
* Each module is between 11-12 concentrated days of training.
* Each module incorporates within it Psychodrama Fundamentals, tailored to that specific module.
Psychodrama fundamentals include the courses:
Psychodrama foundations. Classical Psychodrama A. Therapeutic Theater A
These cover role reversal, doubling technique, fundamentals of the inner child model, and the integration of therapeutic theater in psychodrama.

Level 2 :
Psychodrama facilitators -
Group psychotherapy specializing in psychodrama and group relations.
Those that will proceed to complete Level 2 and the supervised practical facilitation internship hours will receive a certification as Psychodrama facilitators.

Registration for the program is subject to a personal interview.
Completion of all modules entitles you to a certificate –
Level 1 graduates (upon completion of all 3 level 1 modules): Group facilitation combining psychodrama and therapeutic theater techniques.
Level 2 graduates: Psychodrama facilitator: Group psychotherapy and relationship work in a group.

SHAY MASHIACH
Founder & Program Director
Shay is a certified psychodrama therapist for groups and individuals and has been training therapists in psychodrama for the past two decades.
Shay has a master's degree in applied educational psychology from NEU University in the US, graduated from the two-year sexual therapy (sexology) program at Haifa University.
A graduate of shamanism studies, medical circles and the co-creator of the psychodrama and shamanism unique training course - School of Magic.

Cancellation Policy:
No refund will be provided for cancellations made within 30 days before the training.
Cancellations made between 30 and 45 days from the training date will be eligible for an 80% refund.
Cancellations made more than 45 days from the training date will receive a full 100% refund.
We will make an effort to consider and offer credit for another course.
